Pro-GNA Militias Reject UNSMIL-led Dialogues

Many Pro-GNA Militias of Tripoli reject UNSMIL-led dialogues urged the Head of the Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj to reunify the council and constitute a national government that works until the national elections in December 24, 2021.

The militias announced their rejection of Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha’s Operation Snake Hunt, saying the operation is “a delusion” that servers the political conspiracy.

The militias said the Government of the National Accord should integrate all Volcano of Rage Operation fighters into state security and armed institutions. Furthermore, they accuse UNSMIL of being the reason for conflicts in Libya over years via its dialogues that led to no successful results.

They also urged the continuation of the GNA for years in Libya is another proof that UNSMIL and its dialogues are a failure. The GNA militias call for a clear roadmap for Libyans, restating the refusal to “unacceptable figures” who are being nominated for the new executive government.
