Egypt started days ago to announce planning a rail link to Benghazi, Libya. Also, there is a great plan to link the railway to Africa, according to the eastern official state news agency.
Regarding an announcement of the Egyptian Minister of Transport, Kamel Al-Wazir, saying that the railway will connect 9 of the neighboring countries to support the Egyptian industry and labor. Also, he added, “There was coordination with Chad regarding whether the route passes from Sudan or Libya, and a decision has been made to start from Libya, then Chad, and then Congo.”
He continued, “the latest systems of the railways aim to achieve safety and avoid human errors.”
