However, turkey prepares to send Turkish-backed mercenaries to Libya, amid ongoing recruitment operations, according to important sources. The recruitment of “mercenaries” by turkey takes place in the north of Syria in Idlib, Aleppo, and Afrin through brokers. Turkey deceives and pays Syrian youth to drag them to fights then death
Their salaries are $400 per fighter
This is considered a violation of the 5+5 military committee agreement of October 2020
Nearly 150 Syrian mercenaries were supposed to return from Libya sooner, and another wave will travel there. Furthermore, the mercenaries’ payments were deducted and delayed by the Turkish-backed factions’ commanders
