In the meeting, many topics were discussed, most particularly the lack of budgets and its impact on the planned field’s development programs, and the urgent need to cover day to day maintenance, well’s workover, pipeline repairs and replacement, and storage tanks cleaning and repair …. etc
The debates went through strategic plans of NOC and Total to advance the development of both North Gialo and NC-98 on a fast track. both fields will increase the company’s production by +/- 180 MBOPD. Also, the discussion included the reinstatement of Dahra and Bahi field as well as Mabriuk field functioned by Mabrouk oil operation. Furthermore, NOC requested Total to provide their experience in the field of renewable energy
