The US ambassador to Libya, Richard Norland has acclaimed Denmark for its support for the national elections in Libya
Both of the nations’ ambassadors met on Tuesday, Ambassador Norland and the Danish Ambassador to Libya Julie Pruzan-Jorgensen. Norland was pleased with Denmark’s contributions to support Libya with $800,000 as part of a bilateral agreement between the two countries, besides an aid of $1 million in 2018
In a statement, the US embassy said that Norland expressed his peer country efforts as an outstanding case of the international community supporting Libya’s political process
Both ambassadors expressed bilateral efforts to support the accomplishment of national elections on December 24, 2021, and municipal elections, and the Central Commission of Municipal Council Elections (CCMCE)
