Egypt Diplomacy Arranges To Open The Embassy In Libya

A delegation of Egyptian representatives to the Republic visited Tripoli yesterday for the second time since the closure of the embassy in 2014 and to arrange to open again.
According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammed Al-Qablawi announced that the delegation of diplomats and security personnel paid the official visit to Tripoli confirming the reopening of the embassy.
The Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry, in a meeting with the Libyan Foreign Minister in Cairo on 9 February asserted Mohamed Taha Siala, Egypt’s plan to re-establish its embassy in Tripoli as soon as possible, “to contribute to triggering bilateral collaboration and intense relations between the two nations.”
