Member of Committee 5 + 5 reveals the number and nationality of international observers

Brigadier General Mukhtar Al-Naqsa, member of the 5 + 5 Joint Military Commission, revealed the number of international observers who had recently arrived in the country, confirming that they were 60 people of different nationalities.
In his remarks today Saturday, Al-Naqsa said that this group would have the task of monitoring the ceasefire agreement at the request of the 5 + 5 Joint Military Commission.
He added that the observers are not military, not even armed, but civilian persons, from several States, some from Africa and Europe, pointing to the exclusion of the nationalities of the States involved in Libyan affairs
The member of the 5 + 5 Commission denied that the group was dependent on the peacekeeping forces, stating that the Group would operate under the direct supervision of the 5 + 5 Commission with the task of monitoring the ceasefire and the exit of mercenaries from Libyan territory.
