Al-Assoumi: The Libyans Must Work Hard To Hold The Elections

Mr. Adel bin Abdel Rahman Al-Assoumi, President of the Arab Parliament, welcomed the granting of confidence to the Government of National Unity by the Libyan House of Representatives and the official handover of its functions.

In his address to the fourth session of the third legislative chapter of the first meeting of the Arab Parliament, held today at the headquarter of the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States, Al-Assoumi called on the important role of Libyans to achieve this historic victory. They must work together to complete the remaining political, security, and constitutional paths leading to the holding of national elections in the country at the end of 2021.
