Al-Mashri Discusses With UN Coordinator The Dialogue Path On The Constitutional Rule

Khaled Al-Mashri, Chairman of the State Consultative Council, met, on Tuesday, with the Assistant Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya, “Residen Zeninga” at the Council’s headquarter in the capital, Tripoli.

Al-Mashri said, through his account on the social networking site “Facebook”, “I met today with the Assistant Special Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Libya “Residen Zeninga” at the council’s headquarters in the capital, Tripoli.

Al-Mashri added: “I discussed with him the latest current political developments, most notably the elections file and the path of dialogue related to the constitutional base. Al-Mashri indicated that, during the meeting, he stressed the keenness of the Supreme Council of State on the necessity of holding the elections on the specified date, and adhering to the reference of the political agreement with regard to laws and legislation related to the electoral process.
