Abdurrahman Alshater, a member of the State Advisory Council, has said that Libya faces a major challenge entitled ‘’The Eligibility for the December Elections.’’
“The absence of a referendum on the Constitution has made it problematic to achieve an alternative constitutional rule,” he said.
He noted that the United States envoy and Ambassador continued to push for the commitment fulfillment. However, he did not realize that it would be impossible with Russian mercenaries. In this regard, Alshater forgot the presence of Turkish forces, Syrian mercenaries, and armed militias.
The member of the Advisory Council of State concluded by claiming that “the American envoy puts pressure only on Libyans.”
