Amgib: Turkey’s Message Delegation’s Visit Reveals That Tripoli Is Under The Protection

Saeed Amgib, a member of the House of Representatives, commented on the Turkish delegation’s visit to the capital, Tripoli, a few days ago. He stressed that the delegation wanted to deliver several messages to the international community and the Libyan people that Tripoli is under the protection of Turkey.

In a Facebook post, Amgib said: “The messages of Turkish invaders to the international community before the second Berlin Conference: We control the capital, Tripoli, and the new executive cannot refuse what we ask for and they are under our protection. There will be no elections being held on 24 December until we agree. The coastal route will not open and we do not recognize any presence of the 5 + 5 Joint Military Commission.”
