Emirati Official: FM Statement Concerning Mercenaries Is Essential

Dr. Anwar Gargash, Adviser to the President of the United Arab Emirates and former Minister for Foreign Affairs, commented on the Libyan Foreign Minister’s statements regarding the departure of foreign mercenaries from the country.

Gargash tweeted: “the statement by the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Libya, Her Excellency Njala Al-Munqosh, concerning the need for foreign forces to leave Libyan territory with distinction is essential.”

In a tweet, he added: “Just as the international community supports the promising political solution in Libya, the national and Arab perspective seeks full and undiminished Libyan sovereignty.”
