EU: Mercenaries Departure From Libya Will Not Be Soon

Josep Borrell, Representative for Foreign Affairs of the European Union, said that Europe believed that the withdrawal of mercenaries and foreign forces from Libya was part of the political process.

This would not happen soon. 

In a Tweet, Borrell stresses the need to monitor the ceasefire and ensure its continuation first. Thus, giving time to the new authorities to do their job is necessary. 

The Representative of Foreign Affairs of EU drew attention to the need of the European Union to hold the organization of elections at the end of the year.
