ISIS Appears Again on Tarhuna And Musalata Mountains

Following the withdrawal of Libyan army forces to Sirte in the summer of last year, the allied militias of the Government of the National Accord opened the door to the return of extremist organizations in Libyan Western cities. Especially Tarhuna, the city that suffered both from the Government of National Accord’s militias and terrorist groups.
 
Eyewitnesses said that groups of ISIS terrorists had once begun to be stationed in the mountainous region between the cities of Tarhuna and Masalata.
 
Witnesses confirmed that ISIS groups are currently stationed in the mountains linking the town of Tarhuna to the city of Masalata. Also, they were seen moving heavily late at night armed with light weapons of the Bekah machine gun type
