Kubis Supports Hiftar Efforts

The new Special Envoy for Libya and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSML) Jan Kubis, has contacted the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Hiftar, to converse about the newest signs of progress in the security file.

 Kubis hailed Field Marshal Haftar’s determinations to support the operation of the ceasefire agreement of the 5+5 military committee.

According to the statement, Kubis acclaimed Hiftar’s advancement made in the Libyan political, economic, and security issues. 

Kubis is going to continue his consultations with international officials and high-level political representatives and envoys in Libya affairs.
