LNA Supports The Government of National Unity

The Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army (LNA), Field Marshal Khalifa Hiftar announced the Libyan army support to the  Government of National Unity during his first meeting with the new President-designate of the new interim Presidency Council, Mohammad Menfi, at the headquarter of the LNA Al-Rajma.

The meeting included many of the national personalities from Eastern Libya

According to the media office of the LNA, both Hiftar and al-Menfi shared viewpoints

Also, Hiftar stressed the coordination of the armed forces for establishing peace in Libya, maintaining democracy, and ensuring a non-violent transfer of authority in the coming elections in December 2021.
