The Armed Forces Close The Libyan-Algerian Border And Declare It A Military Zone

Yesterday evening, the Libyan Arab Armed Forces announced the closure of the Libyan border with Algeria, confirming that it had become a military zone where the movement was prohibited.

On Friday, the spokesman for the General Command, Major-General Ahmed Al-Mismari, announced the movement of army forces to secure the southern area, in response to “the recent escalation of terrorist operations carried out by ‘’Takfiri’’ gangs in the south-west, targeting them with a car bomb and a security and military post.”
