The Awqaf Authority stopped a preacher who insulted Omar Ibn Al-Khattab in the presence of Al-Dabaiba

Today, Sunday, the Waqf Authority of the Government of National Unity announced that one of the preachers had been referred to the investigation, after he had insulted the great Al – Sahabi Al – Jalil Omar ibn Al -khattab, may God be pleased with him.

Yesterday, social media users shared a video of preacher praising the Prime Minister, Abdel Hamid Al – Dabiba and he ended his speech that if Omar ibn Al-khattab had come to our time, he would be able to offer any thing to Libya .
The waqfs said that “The head of the General Authority for Endowments and Islamic Affairs issued Resolution No. (870) for the year 2021 to suspend one of the preachers of Tripoli’s mosques, and refer him to investigation. This decision comes after the preacher was exposed to Alsahabi Omar Ibn Al-Khattab – may God be pleased with him .
the Tripoli Endowments Office stopped the preacher and appointed a replacement for him, until his case is decided. The Awqaf said that it make to support the Book of God – the Almighty – and the Sunnah of the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – through the pulpits of mosques, and will not accept – at all – that anyone is exposed to them from near or far away.
