The Italian Amb. To Libya Meets With The ML of GNU

Badr El-Din Al-Toumi, Minister of Local Government in the National Unity Government, held a meeting today (Wednesday) with the Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Libya Giuseppe Grimaldi, in the presence of the Ministry’s advisor, Niccolo Patroni, and many officials of the Ministry of Local Government.

The meeting dealt with a discussion of the file supporting bilateral cooperation relations between the Italian authorities and the Ministry of Local Government. Also, the development aspects of the relations emphasize Italy’s position in supporting the programs and activities of the ministry.

During the meeting, the levels of achievement in the projects supported by Italy in the municipalities were also reviewed. The two parties agreed to work together to address the difficulties facing some municipalities in implementing their programs and field projects. Thus, intensifying meetings and visits in a way would enhance programs and projects capable of providing services to citizens.
