AAC NEWS – FOLLOW-UP
President Mohammad Bukhari of Nigeria warned the expulsion of mercenary groups from Libya, stressing that this could exacerbate terrorist events in Africa, particularly in countries neighboring Libya.
In an address to the ECOWAS summit, Bukhari said that the United Nations, in cooperation with Libya’s neighbors, must develop appropriate routes and management of the movements of combatants.
The measure to expel the combatants was aimed at bringing peace to Libya, but it could create a threat to the security and stability of the region.
