UNHCR Limits the African Migration from Libya


According to UNHCR Libya

208 asylum seekers and migrants were returned to Libya by local authorities and disembarked in Tripoli where UNHCR & IRC provided them with assistance


Survivors embarked aboard two rubber boats from Zawiya and Sabratha


Record numbers in departures being reached


The second boat with 94 persons, including 12 women & 4 children, was returned to Tripoli on Saturday


Blankets, water, food & medical aid were provided to all survivors


Unseasonably warm weather seen a record number of boats trying to leave Libya with 1430 pax returned last 4 days only
