El-Sisi: ‘’The Egyptians succeeded in ending the ship crisis, despite the enormous complications’’

The Egyptian President, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, commented on the success in the refloating of the massive ship stuck in Suez Canal, saying: “The Egyptians today have succeeded in ending the crisis of the ship in Suez Canal despite the tremendous technical complexity that surrounded the operation from all sides,” he said.

He added in a statement posted on his official Facebook page: “rerunning the work in the canal by Egyptian hands reassures to the whole world about the peaceful goods and needs shipping lanes that are passed by this central navigational artery.”

El-Sisi said, “I thank every sincere Egyptian who contributed technically and practically to ending this crisis.”

He continued: “The Egyptians have proven today that they are always up to the responsibility.’’
